Readings for Sunday, April 05, 2026 - Resurrection of the Lord Vigil READINGS- Easter Vigil in the Holy Night – various -  1) Genesis 1:1—2:2 or 1, 26. . "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad." + but always include #3:  1) Psalm 104:1-2, 5-6, 10+12, 13-14, 24+35 NT Reading: or Psalm 33:4-5, 6-7, 12-13, 20-22 Romans 6:3-11 verse before GOSPEL ACCLAMATION Alleluia, alleluia! Christ has become our Paschal sacrifice; let us feast with joy in the Lord. GOSPEL- Matt 28:1-10 +++++ Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday of the Resurrection. Year A) FIRST READING- Acts 10:34a, 37-43 Ps 118:1-2, 16-17, 22-23   - "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad." HAPPY EASTER -   CHRIST IS RISEN.  HE IS RISEN INDEED! "Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said." (Matt 28:5-6) First Saturday Mass in the morning is cancelled due to the Holy Saturday pause.  There will be no Healing Mass on Tuesday 7th April due to logistics relating to the Easter Octave.
