Readings for Sunday, August 9th, 2026 - Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Year A FIRST READING- 1 Kings 19:9a, 11-13a Psalm 85:9ab+10, 11-12, 13-14. “Lord, show us your mercy and love, and grant us your salvation.” SECOND READING- Romans 9:1-5 GOSPEL ACCLAMATION (cf.
