Note re: the 9 am Mass this Friday 9th October 2026. At Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clear Island Waters, QLD 4226
This Friday, 9 am Mass, October 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clear Island Waters, QLD, 4226. Saint Vincent's parish school community will be joining us for the Mass. The whole school will be attending, so the church will be at full capacity. We want to alert parishioners early that this Mass will be crowded and that students will be sitting together in groups. This means your seat probably won't be available.
We considered having an earlier Mass that day to accommodate the crowds at 9 am, but this has proven impossible because urgent repair work on Sacred Heart Church will be occurring all Thursday night until around 8 am Friday.
Please let anyone who might not receive this email know that there is no earlier Mass this Friday
(that is, there will be no 7 a.m. Mass, as briefly suggested), and that
the only Mass will be at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart, with limited extra seating.
Our apologies for any inconvenience.
(Please let everyone know that there will NOT be a 7 a.m. Mass this Friday, as briefly proposed, due to other complications listed above).
Everyone is welcome to the 9 am School Mass, but we cannot guarantee parking or seating due to the large numbers.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
God bless,
Fr Paul
