News on Fr Peter's Health -
Last week, our Parish Priest, Fr. Peter was diagnosed with a heart condition that will require him to spend a month or so receiving treatment of rest and medication. He is in good spirits, but unfortunately, he won't be able to celebrate any liturgies during this time. Fr. Paul will be holding the fort along with the support of the wonderful parish pastoral team. Our hope is to be able to maintain our present parish services, but this will depend on the availability of supply priests.
Fr. Peter is very grateful for your prayers and good wishes and you will be kept informed of his recovery.

REST IN ETERNAL PEACE, JUSTIN KING
Beloved parishioner, Justin King, has passed away after bravely battling a sudden illness. He has gone to the rest of his beloved God. Our prayers of gratitude are offered up to God for the gift that Justin will always be to his family, friends and parish community. He was a friendly, generous, practical man of action and a wonderful presence in our community. He will be missed and fondly remembered. Here he is surrounded by family members at the Opening of the Stella Maris Church in Broadbeach, towards which he generously donated.
And here he is, below, with his beaming smile, surrounded by Bishops and Priests at the same Blessing and Opening of the Stella Maris Catholic Church, Friday 27th February 2015.
